In-School Coaching & Counselling

One-to-One Support for Students

Sometimes children and teens need individualised support to work through anxiety, friendship difficulties, low mood, or other emotional challenges. I offer in-school counselling and coaching sessions that provide students with a safe, confidential space to talk and develop healthy coping strategies.

What I offer:

  • Short-term therapeutic support for students aged 4-18
  • Evidence-based approaches blending person-centred therapy and CBT techniques
  • Flexible session scheduling to fit your school timetable
  • Regular communication with designated staff (with appropriate consent)
  • Support for a wide range of issues including anxiety, self-esteem, grief, trauma, and behavioural challenges

I’m experienced in working with children with learning disabilities, neurodivergence, and those who use alternative communication methods. All work is tailored to each student’s unique needs and delivered with warmth, respect, and confidentiality.

Wellbeing Activity Sessions for Primary Children

I deliver fun, engaging group sessions/assemblies that help primary-aged children (ages 4-11) build emotional literacy, confidence and wellbeing skills.  These sessions use creative activities, games, and storytelling to make learning about mental health fun and accessible.

Session themes include:

  • Understanding and managing big emotions
  • Building confidence and self-esteem
  • Developing kindness and empathy
  • Creating calm and managing worry
  • Friendship skills and resolving conflicts
  • Celebrating uniqueness and diversity

Sessions can be one-off workshops or delivered as a series, and they’re designed to complement your PSHE curriculum while giving children practical tools they can use every day.

Exam Confidence Coaching

Help Students Perform at Their Best

Exam periods can be overwhelming for many students, leading to anxiety, panic, and underperformance. My exam confidence coaching helps students develop practical strategies to manage stress, build self-belief, and approach exams with a calm, focused mindset.

Students will learn:

  • Evidence-based techniques for managing exam anxiety
  • Practical revision and time-management strategies
  • How to reframe negative thinking patterns
  • Breathing and grounding exercises for staying calm under pressure
  • Building resilience to bounce back from setbacks

Coaching can be delivered one-to-one or in small groups, and sessions are tailored to students’ individual needs and exam schedules. Perfect for Year 6 SATs, GCSEs, A-Levels, or any high-pressure assessment period.
