Where I work

I can work via zoom or face to face (Nottingham) My hours are flexible.

For face to face I work from Bay Therapy centre, Lady bay, West Bridgford, Nottingham. The centre offers a warm space, off street parking and a gorgeous waiting room.

What I offer

I  am an integrative therapist, using a person-centred and CBT inspired approach. This balances a client developing understanding and insight into their issues / emotions with support and guidance to help them build strategies to move forward with confidence.

Often this involves talking therapy, but depending on the age / stage of the young person I work with I may also use a range of creative activities in my therapy such as craft and play to keep the sessions fun, engaging interesting.

Who I work with

Each client has a unique story and issue to work on and I absolutely focus on the individual and support them in recognising and building upon their strengths.

Issues they may want to work often include ..

  • Friendships
  • Anxiety
  • Low Mood
  • Low Confidence
  • Greif
  • Self harm
  • Body Image
  • Abuse
  • Relationships
  • Separation Anxiety
  • Self Image
  • School refusal/ avoidance

I also have a wealth of experience working with young people with learning disabilities, alternative communication and neurodivergence.

Parenting power hours

Sometimes children and teens are reluctant to come to therapy and yet their parents /carers are worried and stuck on ways to support them. I offer parenting power hours where parents can talk over their concerns and work with me to build supportive strategies to help their child / teen move forward in a warm, safe, non-judgemental environment.
